Lynn Nazarene

Est. 1888

Lynn Naz is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, family oriented congregation. We are focused on hearing and responding to God’s voice as we meet the needs of the community around us in Lynn.
As a congregation, we are in the process of discovering how God’s vision for his people translates into our local context. We meet weekly to pray for our city, church, and vision.

Our weekly worship service includes scripture, singing, fellowship, and prayer.  We have several small groups  that gather throughout the week. We also enjoy fellowship with our monthly lunches on the first Sunday of the month.

Global Church of the Nazarene

As a part of the Church of the Nazarene we seek to be:

a Christian People

We join with the church universal in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ and in embracing the historic Trinitarian statements of Christian faith. We value our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage and believe it to be a way of understanding the faith that is true to Scripture, reason, tradition, and experience.

a Holiness People

God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness. We believe that the Holy Spirit seeks to cleanse us from all sin, renew us in the image of God; empowering us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves; and produces in us the character of Christ. Holiness in the life of believers is at its heart about following Jesus and becoming like Him.

a Missional People

We are a sent by God to be his representatives in the world. In response to the call of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit we witness to the Lordship of Jesus, and participate with God in building His kingdom in every place and space we find ourselves. We believe some women and men are called specifically to vocational ministry while ALL people are called to be God’s ministers in their life context.
